Fair enough it might have had its fair share of trouble on an evening, but which city centre pub doesn't. I worked there for 10 years and met some really interesting people in there, a lot better than some of the snobs you meet and people that you could actually hold a conversation with, that were interested in how you were. While your all busy slagging Big Lil's off, spare a thought for the people that used to go in there through the day.your normal, working class people that had to go in there because they weren't welcome in other pubs in leeds because they weren't dressed right or they couldn't smoke at the bar.Quality booze, cool gambling machines and also they serve all day carvery's. The Angel in Morley is by far the best pub.The Bridge is still one of the best gay nights out in leeds.Fab Cafe (Not really a cafe, actually a pub/club).both packhorses, brudenell, the angel, horse and trumpet do a good selection of ales, whitelocks, umm.The clientelle must use lots of anti-wrinkle cream cause I've seen 18 year olds in there who didn't look a day over 13!!! Well, on the fresh faced front, Heaven and Hell seems to fit the bill.

Horse and Trumpet on Headrow is ok despite appearences. There are some pubs in Leeds that have a largely white clientle with attitude to match.
#THE GAY TEST WHAT DO THE DANCE ERE S TV#
It's decked out like a dungeon, the walls are covered in sci-fi memorabilia and TV screens around the bar play silent DVDs of "Fortress" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" while a DJ in a booth shaped like a spaceship plays Flogging Mollys and Pigeon Detectives tunes. The Fab Café on Woodhouse Lane is a wonderful place to drink. If your under 18, Spencers on Mill Hill will serve just about anyone who has started puberty.Nation of Shopkeepers, Adelphi, Whitelocks, The Alchemist, Botanist, Sandinista, Milos, North Bar, Verve, Escobars, Carp Diem, The Hop, Dry Dock etc.
